I hear calling from the bathroom.
“Muuuuuum!!! Can you come??!!!” The tone of voice tells me something has happened—something I won’t be happy about. I feel a knot forming in my stomach, and my mind says “I don’t want to go there.”
I ask Sylwester if he can go to the bathroom because Marcel needs help, mentioning that I just don’t want to get angry.
Then Wiktor firmly adds,
“But Mum, it is your choice whether you get angry or not. You decide.”
His words really pull me back. And yes, he is absolutely right. I had already decided in my mind to get angry if I confronted the bathroom situation. How often do we do that! We just follow our disconnected, panicking mind. We totally forget about embracing, loving, and experiencing ourselves in every given moment as the Love that we are, don’t we?
