The day finally came for our year-long travel adventure. We first flew from Poland to Greece and spent one night in Athens. After arriving at our booked apartment, Aliya became more whingey than usual. We went out for dinner, but she refused to eat and kept saying she had a tummy ache. She had never complained of tummy aches before, so I checked her forehead and found it to be hot.
Back at the apartment, she lay down and fell asleep immediately. I measured her temperature, and it was 39.5°C. My body tensed. I started rubbing her with peppermint essential oil and applying cold compresses. My mind started worrying about our long flight to Australia, which was scheduled for the next day. “How will we manage it? Should I buy paracetamol just in case? And this belly ache…” We had never given Aliya any medicine before, we always used oils and cold compresses. The idea of giving her paracetamol didn’t feel right to me, but my racing mind argued that this was an extreme situation. The thought of cancelling the flight also crossed my mind, but that didn’t feel right either. I felt suspended and realised I was in the void… I began to embrace the not knowing what to do and I found myself in a feeling of emptiness intertwined with calmness.
Sylwester went out to the shop with the boys, and I remembered that I could do a healing on Aliya. So I sat close to her and started the heling process, embracing my anxious thoughts along the way.
After some time, her temperature had not dropped much, it was still 39°C, and it was late evening. Before we all went to sleep, I set an alarm to go off every hour throughout the night to check her temperature. It was a busy night, filled with many cold compresses and oil rubbings.
In the morning, I woke up and… she remained very hot. We needed to leave soon, and she was still very weak and unable to walk. I decided to do another healing, this time in a separate room. I sat on the bed, started breathing deeply, and realised that being in the void meant I was in a state of all possibilities. In that moment I decided that EVERYTHING WAS GOING TO BE OK during our flight. I felt this choice deeply resonate in every cell of my body and did a healing with so much incredible loving power streaming through me into Aliya’s field.
While I was in the other room, Aliya suddenly got up and started playing! She was back in the game! She even had a bite of something without complaining about her tummy ache. Her temperature had dropped to 38°C. We were all overjoyed.
It took us about 19 hours to reach our final destination, with two layovers. Although Aliya still had occasional tummy aches and was hot at times, we managed the flight all the way through.
