It was over two years ago when I checked my mailbox and my body filled with warmth, joy and excitement – Mei-lan Maurits, together with Ali Pervez Mehdi, announced their very first live concert in London. I’ve been a big fan of Mei-lan’s music, meditations and programmes. Her courses have helped me immensely to find different vibrations, rather than just the constant worry and fear that were very present in my life at that time. I assure you that her voice will take you into a realm filled with peace, relaxation, possibility, harmony and bliss.

I remember when I started watching her talk in one of her courses, I had an instant feeling of friendship. It felt very strange to the mind – I knew her deeply and I couldn’t explain why I felt this way. I loved that feeling! Every time I watched Mei-lan talk, I couldn’t stop smiling, and nearly every word she spoke moved me to tears.

In 2023 my mum came over to take care of the kids so that Sylwester and I could have a trip to London to the Freedom Concert. It was also a very special moment, as it was the first time we had gone somewhere just the two of us in about ten years.

At that time, I was running a women’s circle in the woods, and I remember sharing with the circle that I was super excited to see my friend singing in London – who didn’t know about my existence yet, though. I unconsciously cultivated this feeling of a beautiful friendship within me, simply because it was fun and felt nice.

I really wanted to give Mei-lan a gift. I didn’t feel like buying anything, I wanted to create something special. The idea came to me that I would gift her and Ali “The Answer is in Your Heart” – the book I had written, just to share a little more love. I also wrote a letter in which I shared how much her work had helped me. I hoped there would be a possibility to pass that gift on to her.

The day of the concert came. The moment Mei-lan’s and Ali’s voices spread through the entire Union Chapel, we all gathered there felt the magic of connection. Every single note moved us to the core of our true being.

At the end, they announced the name of a lady who had won a personal meeting with Mei-lan and Ali. I was so happy for her, as if I had won it myself! I truly celebrated it.

I did have a chance to pass the gift to Mei-lan’s husband. After the concert finished, Sylwester and I left, buzzing.

The next day we woke up still in London, and my mind wandered: had Mei-lan opened the letter, seen the book, whether her daughter liked it, whether Ali had children at all.

“What if we bump into Mei-lan and Ali today?” said Sylwester.

“Yes, for sure,” I answered ironically.

After a whole day of exploring London together, we arrived at St Pancras Station. I went to a shop to buy some water, and when I came out, I was talking to Sylwester when he suddenly said,

“Marianna, I think that’s Ali from the concert.”

“Yeah, right.”

“He’s there!”

I rolled my eyes, convinced it was another joke, and was just about to move on when he stopped me.

“No, no – he is REALLY there.”

So I looked, and I SAW Ali. The time completely stopped for me. It was as if I had left my body and started drifting. I found myself walking towards him, and then I started seeing Mei-lan’s daughter, then her husband, brother and sister! It was just surreal.

I found myself standing in front of them, knowing that I was a stranger, but then I remembered that I had passed the gift on to her husband. This is how I began talking – about the gift and the letter. When I finished, Mei-lan stood up, came to me, and gave me the warmest hug ever. I was in total awe.

Someone even started playing the piano so beautifully during that moment that all I could think was, “Universe, you’re even gifting me that wonderful soundtrack?! This is just amazing!” I was so present and touched during our meeting. I was flying high! I not only got to meet Mei-lan and Ali, but also her whole family!

Sylwester and I travelled back home filled with deep gratitude and awe. In awe of the magic of the power of conscious creation. Our meeting happened at the perfect time. Now I know that absolutely nothing is impossible for the Source – for us! It is all about holding elevated vibrations in the body. That’s the only thing needed for our dreams to manifest. The rest will take care of itself and surprise us in the most unexpected moments.
